Seeing Alex Cora play the past few days has reminded me the only other person I was a fan of despite their Filthy Effin' Dodgerdom. From minor-league Little League through high school, I split time between second base and catcher because Joey Cora and Mikey P. kicked so much ass. Ah, the '06 season. I still had the 40 game season ticket plan out in section 231 & would get there early to watch Piazza warm up the starting pitcher in the pen. Then they would slowly walk right past my seats to the dugout, typically having to stop for the National Anthem. Sigh...heaven on earth that season, I tell ya!
